Under a billion stars
\nFaces lit by rectangular screens
\nAll connected, but incoherently
\nSociety’s wisdom measured by posts and tweets.<\/p>\n
The hardest I think is when my password expires
\nIs the world around me ending?
\nA billion stars above don’t matter
\nThey aren’t what is trending<\/p>\n
Between my eyes and my brain I have a 5 inch filter
\nI don’t care if the polar bears can’t survive
\nEverything is sorted in the palm of my hands
\nEven in silent mode I feel so alive<\/p>\n
What will happen when the signal grows weak?
\nCan I still make those connections?
\nHow can I express my patriotism, anger and expert opinions?
